Sima Marine (India) Pvt Ltd was incorporated on the 14th December 2005. Headquartered in Mumbai. Simamarine’s key functions are Indian Coastal Service, Ship Owning, Ship Management and Agencies.
Global Feeder Shipping is one among the top Feeder operator in India. GFS operate six services in India with 4 ships, handles more than 500 port calls per year.
In the year 2015, Sima Marine India acquired two ships (M/V Narmadaa and M/V Godavari) of 1659 TEU size each to operate Indian Coastal Trade. The success of this venture prompted Sima Marine India to replace the 1659 TEU vessels with bigger vessels and bought 2 vessels (M/V Pamba1 and M/V Sarayu) of 2452 TEU’s size and deployed in the coastal service. In 2018 Sima Marine India bought two more ships (M/V Mogral and M/V Varada) of 3359 TEU’s & 4239 TEU’s size respectively to enhance the Indian coastal operations. Currently Sima Marine India owns and operate four container vessels having a total of 12,502 TEU’s / 168,861 DWT. The ports covered are Kandla,Mundra, Pipava, Goa, Mangalore,Cochin and Tuticorin.
